I learned of FTG Services while working with my previous employer. They would come in and do all sorts of work for them. I was impressed with the quality of work they did and how quickly they did it. I recently bought a new home in Santa Clarita and wanted to get some work done, so I immediately thought of FTG. I called Mickey up and within a few days, he was at my residence scoping out the work and giving me a quote. For the amount of work that needed to be done, I felt that his quote was more than reasonable. Him and his helper named Matt came out the following week to get started. Right from the start, they laid down plastic all over including the stairs. They were very careful with everything and made sure they didn’t damage anything- which I greatly appreciated. They were great at multitasking and worked in both areas in the house to get the job done faster. Mickey and Matt went above and beyond for my gym downstairs. They helped me move in my commercial grade equipment (really heavy machines) and when one of the machines didn’t fit through the door by a few inches, they made the necessary cuts to get the equipment to fit and then made the necessary repairs. This was not in the scope of work that we discussed initially but they still went ahead and did what had to be done to complete the gym for me -which again, I greatly appreciated. Everything turned out great – the room upstairs looked like it was built that way from the beginning and the gym downstairs looked awesome. I want to point out that during this project, I gave Mickey access to my house so that he could come in and out as needed. My work schedule for the government can be hectic at times so not having to be home was a huge plus for me. I found these guys to be very honest and trustworthy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know.

We have used FTG Services as our exclusive construction contractor at our 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility for the past 20 years. As a Facilities Supervisor with a construction background, I can depend on FTG Services to work with us to schedule activity during off hours that it will not cause a disruption in business activity; I trust them to come through on time and on budget. Mickey at FTG is a pleasure to work with and he has deep expertise and experience in all aspects of our remodeling and construction needs, including electrical, lighting, plumbing, specialty flooring, framing, drywall, painting and everything in between. FTG personnel are respectful, courteous, well-trained, and they know how to work quietly and efficiently in a mixed office and light manufacturing environment, which is not easy to do. FTG has also done work for our Owners in their own homes, and will be doing some much-needed updating at my home in the near future; they easily transition from industrial to residential to commercial. FTG was very punctual, and arrived ready to work. They made sure they had everything they needed when they arrived so they wouldn’t needed to leave in the middle of the job. They told us everything they were going to do before they started. They were very quick and tidy. Everyday they removed any mess they made. The job actually took less time then quoted so FTG cut the price we needed to pay. My husband and I love the room that was built. I would highly recommend FTG for any home improvement jobs.

Robert showed up with a help and got straight to work had to move things out of the way and didn’t break anything. Barely noticed they were there. They started with the fan. Laid out a tarp and started to cut into the roof. They had to go into the attic to make sure it was supported right and wouldn’t fall. Which I appreciate since both of my kids will be in that room. Did all the wiring and hung the fan/light very quickly. They then started on the TV again tarp on floor, so no mess. TV was hung quickly and properly again safely so my kids aren’t in danger. They then started on the wall, built a frame hung dry wall and sealed it. then matched the texture on the walls around it. Had to come back another day to paint. When they came back to paint I asked him to look at the door because I was having trouble opening and closing it. Had no problem adding work. I never had to clean up after them, loved that! Bill matched estimate only part that varied was the amount of hours for labor. It took less hours so he changed the bill for the hours.
